About the role
We are looking for our next Guest Service Agent Superstar!
This role will suit a well-rounded hospitality or customer service professional with the flexibility and experience to work a variety of shifts through the week including weekends.
The successful candidate will have had previous experience working in reception/front desk/reservations, or a hospitality supervisor. While not essential, previous experience and understanding of the Opera Cloud system will be highly regarded.
When it comes to Front Office — excellent communication, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, high standard of personal grooming, and a professional, friendly and helpful demeanour are essential.
Our Guest Service Team also takes care of breakfast and barista coffee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to all incoming reservations calls, emails and enquiries from guests, travel agents and corporate companies regarding accommodation
- Processing all reservations, cancellations and amendments to bookings
- Communicate guest special requests to relevant teams throughout the hotel including VIPs
- Communicate guest complaints to hotel management and assist in investigations and resolutions
- Be an expert on the hotel rooms, room rates and packages available and upsell when possible
- Assist Group Reservations and Reception when required
- F&B service, from Breakfast to Room Service.
