About the role
Alex Hotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to join our team in Perth, WA 6000. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently to provide a comfortable experience for our guests.
Key responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to identify and address issues before they escalate
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of hotel equipment, infrastructure, and building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more
- Manage and oversee trades and maintenance technicians, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within budget
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and materials to support maintenance operations
- Collaborate with hotel management to identify and address any facility-related issues or concerns
- Ensure the hotel facilities comply with all relevant health, safety, and building regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and costs

Skills & experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality maintenance management role
- Knowledge of building systems such as My Buildings, strong technical skills with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with hotel management and guests
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and building regulations in the hospitality industry
