About the role 

A Conference & Events Operations Supervisor & Breakfast Supervisor manages the setup, service, and breakdown of events and oversees breakfast operations, ensuring high standards in both areas. This role involves coordinating and training staff, liaising with clients, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing efficient service, handling guest inquiries, and promptly addressing issues to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for clients and guests. Strong leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Skills & experience 

  • Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 1 year experience as  team leader, shift supervisor or assistant manager 
  • Experience in Corporate & Event function service, set up and operations
  • You’ll  have excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills
  • You have a strong working knowledge of point of sale systems such as Micros and and understanding of PMS systems such as Opera.
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Leadership skills that are second to none
  • You are fully conversant with all aspects of hotel operational procedures
