About the role
The Food & Beverage coordinator ensures all Outlets bookings, enquiries and events are responded to and coordinated in a timely and accurate manner to achieve a successful outcome for our guests and the Hotel. The role is full-time.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing sales & administrative support to the Food & Beverage Outlets department which covers 5 different outlets – Atrium Garden Restaurant, Marine Lounge Bar, Ball & Chain, Poolside Bar and Room Service.
- Actively responding to all incoming guest enquiries/bookings with regards to all internal and external offerings/functions/events that occurs in the F&B outlets including making reservations and taking payment.
- Proactively secure new event business by competently providing proposals and contracts.
- Provide event orders and floor plans along with all relevant information to the operational areas and clients.
- To liaise closely with the Executive Chef and Outlets Manager in the coordination of functions and events.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
- Follow all procedures with regard to deposits and payment schedules for all event bookings and special event bookings.
- To complete the Weekly Distribution in conjunction with other Event Coordinators.
- To conduct site inspections including clients and third party suppliers as required for coordination of events.
- To attend all relevant Sales, operations and administrative meetings.
- To communicate with Reservations regarding room blocks.
- To meet and greet conference organiser or client in conjunction with the Outlets Manager or Supervisor on the client’s arrival/first day of event to finalise details.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans/events to achieve revenue targets for the F&B departments.
- To perform any other reasonable duties and tasks as directed by Management.

Skills & experience
- Minimum 6 months Hospitality sales and event coordination experience.
- **Highly desirable but not essential – Proficient use of sales software (e.g. iVvy, Opera PMS system, SevenRooms, EventBrite)
