About Rydges Esplanade Hotel Fremantle
With a rich history dating back to 1850 the hotel is an iconic landmark in Western Australia. Our iconic location means our guests can savour the culture and tradition of Fremantle one of WA’s premier tourist destinations when staying with us. The hotel offers 300 spacious refurbished rooms across ten different room categories, two pools, multiple conferencing & event spaces, as well as a restaurant and three different bars.

About the role
- Clean guest rooms & apartments; including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and corridors to the hotels high standards.
- Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
- Ensure towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
- Report maintenance requirements
- Report any lost property following correct hotel procedures
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
- Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
- Adhere to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines.
- Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed

- A passion for the service and hospitality industry
- Demonstrates a great attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, prioritize and multi task
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible to work a rotating any shift and on short notice
- Full working rights in Australia
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to providing the highest level of guest care
