About the role
We are actively searching for talented individuals who possess that special spark and have a desire to be part of something extraordinary. We currently have openings for part-time positions, or a commitment of two nights per week.
Technical responsibilities include;
- Receiving and processing reservations across all areas of the hotel.
- Conducting audits, reconciliations, and problem-solving tasks.
- Assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between.
- Welcoming and engaging with all guests, as well as handling telephone inquiries.
- Offering and promoting our range of products and services to guests and potential guests.
- Attending to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Providing support to other departments as required, including general clerical, cleaning, and administrative duties.

- Previous experience with property management systems and point-of-sale systems is desirable.
- Present yourself impeccably, with a smile that lights up the room.
- Holding a current RSA and First Aid Certificate is preferred.
- Show dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences by continually seeking ways to add value and prioritise guest needs.
- Possess self-starting qualities with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Enjoy working flexible rosters, including shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
- Thrive in a nocturnal schedule and be available for two night shifts from 23:30 to 07:30 on a rotating roster.
- Demonstrate a passion for reporting and an inclination to analyse various aspects, such as weather, sporting events, or financial figures. Reporting on daily revenue is a crucial part of your role.
- Embody leadership qualities inspired by Steve Jobs, exhibiting problem-solving skills, initiative, and innovation.
- Have previous experience in a 4/5-star hotel, with familiarity in operating Opera or Fidelio systems.
