About the role
Often the first point of contact for our guests, your strong communication skills will shine through in this role by delivering service excellence from check in to check out and everywhere in between. Your duties will include but not be limited to;
- Be experienced in financial requirements around night audit function.
- Handling all guest requests, inquiries and complaints appropriately and with professionalism
- Ensuring all reservations and enquiries are entered in an efficient and prompt manner
- Answering incoming telephone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Providing suggestions and recommendations of things to see and do whilst in Perth
The right applicant needs to be flexible to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Communication and confidence within hotels is crucial, so being able to deal with a wide range of guests and staff. You must to be able to work independently.

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have;
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality or Tourism industry
- Proven customer service experience, with the ability to quickly build positive and trusting relationships
- High level of both written and verbal communication skills, including an excellent phone manner
- Ability to work under pressure during peak service times
- Previous experience using Room Master systems is preferred
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards
- Warden Training is not essential but would be beneficial
- First Aid Certificate is not essential but would be beneficial
- Someone with a positive attitude, a genuine customer service focus and the technical ability to process the nightly audit of all front office transactions
