About the role

Join a great team with supportive leadership at Tamworth’s premium dining establishment & extend your current passion & knowledge of the food & hospitality industry.  You’ll enjoy using great produce from the region & cooking with wood ovens & grills.

This role includes a 5-day week flexible roster including weekends & previous experience is a must. Immediate start is available for successful candidate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Menu planning in consultation with head chef
  • Ordering of food supplies
  • Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Discuss food preparation issues with other chefs and kitchen staff
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and advising on cooking procedures to junior staff
  • Preparing and cooking food across all sections within the kitchen
  • Executing and enforcing company hygiene regulations to junior staff
  • Freezing and preserving food and rotating stock
  • Organising and maintaining dry store including ordering
