The Role
Due to growth in demand we are looking for an Event Sales Executive to join our dynamic and results driven team. Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue growth and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in one of the most fun, inclusive and creative work environments in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify incoming leads, generate proposals and convert business
- Manage your accounts from initial enquiry until hand off to our dedicated event coordinators
- Find opportunities to upsell and grow revenue ahead of the market
- Work with the team to use our space in creative ways and maximise our asset
- Collaborate with your colleagues! Share your ideas on how to generate and convert new business
- Attend industry functions and familiarisations as required
Skills & Experience
- Experience in sales is preferred but not essential, we’re more interested in you being the right person for our energetic team
- Prior knowledge of the Ivvy platform will be highly regarded
- Be someone who loves to be around new people
- Ability to work within a team environment
