The Role
QT Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Reservations agent to join our accommodation reservations team.
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, in this hands-on role, you will assist guests to make reservations with the hotel via phone and email and ensure that all their needs are met and hey have a fantastic stay at the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking accommodation reservations over the phone, email & via the internet.
- Processing and inputting reservations into the PMS.
- Assisting with reservation enquiries, cancellations and amendments to bookings.
- Effectively dealing with groups, corporate companies and travel agents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Preparing quotes based on clients’ needs.
- Up-selling rooms.
- Assisting with reception and guest enquiries.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for guest engagement, always finding a way to Get to Yes!
- A real team player.
- Extremely well organised, flexible, with a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
- Quick thinker and effective problem solver. Be able to ‘Think outside the box’.
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and proven experience of Opera systems would be advantageous.
