About the role
- Plan, organise and execute a variety of events from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the Venue Manager/Head Chef to execute Event Orders and organise run sheets and schedules
- Report to F&B Manager on the overall performance of the C&E department
- Work closely with hotel Sales & Events team on execution of each event
- Ensure all functions and events meet the venue’s premium standards while staying within budget
- Lead a team of enthusiastic staff to ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the quality of functions and events
- Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge

Skills & experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a conference / banqueting leadership role for 2 years
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a function & events leadership role for 2 years
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic F&B space
- Passion for culinary excellence & sound knowledge of current food trends
- Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills
