About the role
You’re not just a Housekeeping Supervisor — you’re a master motivator, a training guru, and an efficiency wizard all rolled into one! Your attention to detail and obsession with quality will create guest rooms so spotless, they’ll practically sparkle. You oversee the Housekeeping Team in the day to day operations to ensure QT Melbourne and its surrounds are kept tidy, meticulously clean & serviceable at all times.
Primary responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Dive in and carry out cleaning tasks across various housekeeping areas as needed.
- Provide training, uphold cleanliness standards, and conduct daily inspections for assigned rooms .
- Efficiently assign tasks and maintain inventory PAR to ensure smooth operations.
- Attend to guest requests and issues promptly.
- Assist with managing roster budgets and communicate with other departments while providing performance updates to management.
- Monitor and improve productivity levels of the team whilst maintaining 5 stars standards of cleaning and presentation of the rooms.

Skills & experience
- A sharp eye for detail and previous experience as a housekeeping team leader or supervisor is a must.
- You’re as bubbly as a glass of champagne and full of initiative.
- Your grooming is spot on, and you are not afraid to experiment with fashion.
- You’re an ace at really listening and juggling ten things at once.
- You’re all about teamwork and thrive in an upbeat and lively environment.
- You are reliable and flexible with the ability to work various shifts.
- Flexible availability to handle a rotating roster.
- Willingness to not only lead the team but to also work alongside them to ensure their success.
- Previous experience with Opera and/or HubOS software’s is a bonus.
