About The Role
The Assistant Venue Manager at our jewel in the crown, Rooftop at QT, challenges our expectations and brings new and exciting ideas to create exceptional guest experiences across our amazing spaces.
Some duties include:
- Drive the overall guest experience through a hands on approach.
- Create the ultimate atmosphere with a detailed approach in all aspects of operating the business.
- Assist in the development of cocktail creativity for the Signature Cocktail List. Our cocktail list is built for speed!
- Culture – Foster a culture by developing the team through employee training (internal and external). Create a playful and safe atmosphere to work amongst peers.

Skills & experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- The ability to work under pressure in one of Newcastle’s busiest Rooftop bars.
- Passion for delivering service excellence.
- Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills.
- Team player with a hands on attitude.
- Sound knowledge of current bar trends.
