About the Role
QT Perth is on the lookout for an Event Sales Coordinator SUPERSTAR to join the expanding Event Sales Team. You will be an integral part of the team success in a key role, supporting the Sales team with all aspects of conference and events sales activities.
Be bold, be passionate and be part of a team that want to achieve more. Be the ONE. Your day-to-day duties will be to;
- Assist with incoming telephone calls to the Sales Department
- Use iVvy CRM system to track all new business leads, event enquiries, bookings and client details, and produce relevant activity reports.
- Assist Sales Team in drawing proposals and or contracts when required
- Prepare Banquets Event Orders based on handover notes & checklists from planners
- Support the Sales & Events Team with finance related tasks such as Pro-Forma tax invoices as per C & E Terms and Conditions.
- Ensure post event follow-up is completed by phone in the first instance after all events and account is correctlycharged and closed.
- Efficiently prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports and ensure they are distributed on time and accurately.
- Assist sales team with checking of site rooms and C & E floor for all incoming site inspections
- Co-ordinate and undertake hotel familiarisation and extensive product knowledge to ensure all entertainment and site inspections are conducted well to potential clients
- Communicate effectively with members of all other Departments includingRooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, via email, event order or department meetings.

Skills & Experience
- Relevant experience in the hotel industry
- Excellent presentation
- Incredibly reliable and flexible
- Personality plus, and able to bring it out in your team
- Previous experience with Ivvy and Opera desirable
- Passion for Hospitality, amazing communication skills both on the phone & in person
- Excellent attention to detail & commitment to high standards
