About the role

QT Queenstown is now seeking an experienced, talented, passionate and creative chef to be part of our amazing kitchen.

Our quirky 5 star hotel operates Bazaar Restaurant, Reds Bar, Lil Red and Queenstown’s largest Conference & Events venue. Come and work along side award winning Executive Chef

This position is located in one of the most stunning locations in NZ, ideally suited to the outdoor enthusiast!

Skills & experience 

  • Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. We hire chefs with creativity and passion.
  • Experience in a high quality a la carte restaurant
  • The ability to run a service and team of chefs
  • Provide a consistent level of quality
  • Can plan and assist with menu development.
  • A genuine interest and understanding in various culinary styles.
  • Food Safety Knowledge 
  • An understanding of financials – Food cost of sales, payroll, menu costing
