About the role
- Quoting, contracting and coordinating events from start -to-finish
- Responsible for indirect + direct customer enquiries
- Promoting the venue and working with our brand to best position our property
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Effectively communicating event details across associated hotel divisions
- Coordination of BEO meetings
- Manage and yield events to achieve budgeted targets

Skills & experience
- Motivated and passionate about service excellence
- Attention to detail and poses the ability to multi task
- Exceptionally gifted communicator
- Able to negotiate, close a sale
- Positive can-do attitude
- Event management experience within a hotel or venue is desired
- Previous experience with Opera – Property Management System and iVvy Event Management system is preferenced
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to network and develop relationships
