About the role

We are now looking for an energetic, well-presented person to take up the full-time role of a Conference & Events Team Leader. It involves assisting the Conference & Events Operations Manager execute events across 12 meeting spaces in our conference & events department.We are a busy conferencing venue which caters up to 350 delegates at one time across our conference spaces.

Skills & experience 

  • Assist the Conference Supervisor to improve operational standards.
  • Able to handle for operations for meeting/venue space which could cater up to 350 delegates at one time.
  • Develop initiatives to assist in continuously raising the team’s expertise in the Conference & Events, utilising all your talents to train & mentor team members
  • Make a real impact in building relationships with conference clients.
  • Hands on decision making and problem solving skills.
  • At least 1 year(s) experience in Conference & Events in a similar sized hotel preferred. 
  • Outstanding service & leadership skills
  • A passion to meet and exceed customer’s expectation is highly desirable.
  • Drive to up sell Conference facilities & services.
  • The desire to be the best in the game
  • Flexibility to work shifts across the 7-day week including early mornings and late evenings.
  • 40hrs a week and 2 days off ability to work rostered shifts and as business needs
