About the role
We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to oversee the day-to day operations of the hotel and drive excellence in guest service. Some key responsibilities of this hands-on role are:
- Ensure the team is customer focused, being proactive in identifying customer needs
- Welcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures and requests
- Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback
- Assist the Rooms Division Manager with rostering, training and providing leadership for the greater Front Office team

Skills & experience
- Previous hotel supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication essential
- Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential
- Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential
- Advanced PMS (OPERA) experience desirable
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and public holidays
