About the role

Our Sales Manager will successfully pursue, evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm Corporate, Government, Wholesale, Crew and MICE revenue targets for the hotels in accordance with the Sales & Marketing plans for Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. If you’re energetic, empowered, optimistic and come with a can-do attitude you’ll be a great fit. This is the role for you.

What will your day look like? Here are a few examples:

  • Highly focused on conversion of all opportunities, by deploying effective sales and negotiation techniques and comfortable with being regularly measured on conversion.
  • Handle incoming enquiries in accordance with EVT standards, response times and pricing guidelines and that proposals & contracts are sent out in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Appropriate maintenance of the IVvy CRM system including adhering to all database integrity standards, logging all sales activity, tasks & client information appropriately.
  • Actively pursue new business through creative strategy and strong relationship management.

Skills & experience 

  • Previous hotel sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication essential
  • Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential
  • Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential
  • Advanced IVvy CRM experience desirable
