Job Description 

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Marine Lounge Bar and Atrium Garden Restaurant to ensure all areas of the outlets are delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operation of the outlets while working closely on the strategic direction of the outlets with the food and beverage manager. You will also assist in the control of productivity within the department creating a professional role ensuring service standards are outstanding. 

Successful Applicants will posses:

  • Ideally we are looking for candidates who have previous experience in a similar environment within hospitality venues or a bar and are looking towards making a leap in their career towards a bigger role or just a change in scenery.
  • Understanding of financial responsibilities including budgets, controls, cost of goods, P&L reports, business plans and labour costs.
  • Cocktail knowledge would be preferred so you can help champion the cocktails on our menu.
  • Valid and current  WA  Approved Managers License preferred or a willingness to get one.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A happy disposition, an understanding of the importance of a positive work environment and mentoring and motivating a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and show your initiative.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • A high level of customer experience is expected within the hotel so you would be responsible for making sure that the whole team is providing winning service. We have a lot of regular guests at the hotel and being able to make them feel valued is paramount
  • Making sure there is high standard of consistency with cleanliness.
  • Coming up with new ideas and ways to improve the bar and Restaurant
  • Supporting with training of new team members and coaching them to be the best they can be.
  • Ability to maximise client satisfaction with a proven track record
  • Remain responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the delivery of exquisite service
  • Ability to understand and provide all detailed items in accordance with guests’ wishes
  • Ability to successfully communicate to other facets of the business and be able to drive costs and financials
  • Ability to work in a team environment and focus on quality and be hands-on
  • Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail
