About the role
Rydges Formosa Golf Resort is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef you will be required to participate in all aspects of food preparation, food hygiene, meal presentation, and deliver a consistently exceptional food offering.
As Chef’s at Rydges Formosa Golf Resort you will be an integral part of our team. You will be passionate about cooking, have strong communication and organisational abilities, and bring with you good attitude, trainability and strong work ethic.
We are looking for someone to join us on a fulltime basis with availability across nights and weekends.

Skills & experience
- Be confident and strong in cooking ability and can run a section
- Have pride in your work and understand the brand and offering
- Will work well under pressure
- Be organised so your section runs efficiently and productively
- Check all food is stored and safely handled in line with food control plan and best practice
- Work with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and F&B Manager to resolve any guest complaints
- Set a positive example. Help to instruct, train and develop junior chefs.
- Supervise all team members within your area of responsibility including kitchen hands.
- Produce and ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards
- Communicate well and have a positive attitude and resilience
- Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie
- Be fluent in written & verbal English
- Have a food safety certificate, at least 1 year kitchen experience, and be trainable
- Have pride in your work and understand the brand and offering
- Be fluent in written & verbal English
