Rydges Fortitude Valley – Conferencing and Events Positions
Located at the top of King Street and overlooking the Brisbane Showgrounds, Rydges Fortitude Valley houses Six Acres Restaurant, the Paddock Bar, Conference & Events facilities (both onsite and out-catering) plus in room dining options.
A new opportunity has arrived and we are on the search for a creative, innovative and engaging Food & Beverage superstar to join the Conferencing and events team.
We have multiple positions available and are happy to entertain applications from candidates with varied levels of experience, leadership roles are available for the right people. As a minimum you will be trained to support all areas of the hotels food beverage operations with a focus on conferencing and Events, be a mentor to other team members by leading from the front line & developing the skills of the team around product knowledge, service standards & team culture.
You will have:
- Previous experience a plus in a similar position
- Great communication skills
- Genuine passion and love for all things hospitality and guest experience
- Hands on operator leading from the front
- Exceptional product knowledge and ability to drive consistency and excellence
- A Passion for conferencing and events
- Availability to work evenings & weekends as required.
