About the role

Rydges Gold Coast Airport is looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join the professional and dynamic Front Office team who’s responsibilities will include assisting the Front Office Manager with the management of the Front Office team.

Key responsibilities :

  • Handling of both incoming and internal hotel calls from both guests and residents, with responsibility for owning each guest query and coordination of hotel services to meet guest needs.
  • Handling of reservations overflow and after hours calls.
  • Liaison with Front Office Manager and Front Office team ensuring the efficient delivery of services to hotel guests.
  • Assisting with the management of all operational departments as required.
  • Use of the hotel-based computer system.
  • The ability to work a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.

Skills & experience 

  • Previous experience using Opera or similar PMS.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • A friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards.
  • A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy.
