About the role

Our GSAs are responsible for managing guests in the hotel from booking through to check out. 

This role suits an energetic, passionate and detail-oriented personality who is excited by giving great guest experience. To thrive in this role, you will have a can-do attitude, strong administration skills, an emphasis on customer service and a passion for Hospitality/Tourism.

Rydges GCA is a very dynamic, fast paced environment and the day can be turned on its head in the matter of minutes so composure and working under short lead pressure are part of the role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time
  • Provide exceptional guest service by responding to guest requests efficiently and courteously
  • Attend to the arrivals and departures of everyone visiting the hotel
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy with all accounting functions
  • Communicate with housekeeping, reservations and maintenance departments to ensure all guest requests and needs are met
  • Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of computer literacy
  • The ability to work across a 7-day roster – evenings, mornings and weekends
