About the role

Join Rydges Hobart as a Chef De Partie and be a driving force behind our exciting restaurant and bar in bustling North Hobart. You’ll craft extraordinary dining experiences, manage culinary creations, and work across breakfast, dinner service, and Conference & Events. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll be an integral part of our team, helping us make Rydges Hobart the talk of the town.

Key responsibilities;

  • Manage and maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Ensure a seamless breakfast and dinner service.
  • Craft exceptional dishes that spotlight local seasonal produce.
  • Lead kitchen operations with creativity and precision.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain exceptional culinary standards.
  • Contribute to menu development and culinary innovation.
  • Execute culinary preparations for breakfast, dinner, and events.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are consistently upheld.
  • Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment.
