Rydges Kalgoorlie are looking for an experienced and energetic Maintenance Manager to keep our property maintained and in top shape!

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Proven handyperson experience
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and attention to details
- Safety focused approach
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Prior knowledge in MyBuildings software desirable
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Provide support and guidance to all relevant departments when required
- Great leadership skills
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Reliable Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises
- Keep our facilities in ideal condition by doing various odd jobs and co-ordinate trades as required
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule
- Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
- Undertake light installation or carpentry (e.g. build cabinets)
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Supervise team members
- Cost control
- Rostering, timesheets and leave approvals
- Track and maintain works and assets

The position entails a roster of 5 weekly shifts totaling 38 to 42 hours. Flexibility around our 7 day operation is essential should the need arise.
