About the role
Rydges Melbourne will unveil a new conference and events space in the heart of the bustling theatre disctrict, and will hero local seasonal produce that excite the senses. Reporting into the Executive Chef, we are after a hands-on Casual Chefs… Is your mind racing yet?

Skills & experience
- A quirky attitude with the desire to push innovation and creativity across the restaurant, private dining spaces, and special events.
- A passion for team culture
- Commitment to maintaining high and consistent standards of products across all food and beverage outlets.
- To have a full knowledge of, and practice the hotel’s established occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S)
- Excited to work with the Executive chef, Front of House team including the Director of Food and Beverage, Outlets Manager, and the Restaurant Manager.
- In depth understanding and experience managing financial reporting including: menu costing, COGs, labour, wastage.
- Must have minimum 1 years’ experience in similar position
- Ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, nights, public holidays
- Strong written and communication skills
