About the role

As the Front Office Manager your job will be to motivate your team to deliver memorable guest experience’s. With a focus on delivering first class customer service you will ensure that every interaction reinforces our brand values and enhances our reputation for excellence. Your proactive problem-solving and exceptional communication skills will foster an environment where guests feel valued, issues are swiftly resolved, and the standard of service consistently exceeds expectations.

  • Manage all front desk operations, handle guest issues, and oversee reservations.
  • Handles guest inquiries, complaints, and ensures a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Leads and motivates the front office team, responsible for their training and performance.
  • Coordinates with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contributes to the hotel’s financial goals by managing resources effectively and driving revenue through strategic initiatives.

Skills & experience 

  • At least 2 years as a Front Office Manager or Front Office Duty Manager role.
  • Sound understanding of functionality of hotel property management systems. Preferably Opera.
  • Experience with online booking platforms and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills needed, particularly under pressure.
  • An understanding of achieving financial targets and cost management.
  • Able to manage department rosters atleast two weeks in advance.
