About the role

As a Hotel All-rounder within Rydges Palmerston, you will be a crucial part of our team, contributing to the seamless operation of our front office, restaurant, and housekeeping departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting guests with check-in/check-out procedures at the front desk.
  • Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Supporting housekeeping staff with room cleaning, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.
  • Greeting guests warmly in the restaurant, taking orders, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure prompt and quality food and beverage service.
  • Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

Skills & experience 

  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage, particularly Asian cuisine, steak, and superior beer, wine, cocktail, and spirits.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with a positive and constructive approach.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and experience in front desk, housekeeping, functions and events management preferred.
  • Commitment to impeccable personal presentation and hygiene practices.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
