About the role
Rydges Hotel and Sails Resort is looking for an energetic person to work between our 2 properties carrying out a range of tasks with in the Hotel and Resort
Responsibilities
- Perform all work functions as directed by the Maintenance Manager or his / her designated replacement.
- Work with other members of the maintenance team and be responsible for work carried out.
- “Take charge” and show initiative in all aspects of the Engineering Department and Hotel operations.
- Perform various duties as detailed on the established hotel maintenance check list.
- Respond to and carry out all inter departmental or guest requests concerning defects, repairs and / or general assistance. When defects or repairs are outside their capabilities they will communicate directly with the appropriate trades person.
- Log all defects and work or repairs carried out.
- Ensure that all public areas are consistently safe and that all equipment is operating.
