About the role 

Join our team to provide dishes for our Chapmans Restaurant and extensive Event venues offering both buffet and a la carte options.

  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Cooking: Execute cooking techniques and recipes under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring the highest quality and taste of dishes.
  • Station Support: Support various kitchen stations, such as a la carte, buffet, pastry, breakfast, or cold kitchen, as assigned by the Chef.
  • Ingredient Inventory: Assist in monitoring and maintaining ingredient inventory levels, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure your station is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills & experience 

  • Cookery qualification
  • Experience in a high turn over buffet environment is an advantage
