We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Rotorua. Rydges Rotorua is an established Hotel in the region trading under various brands since 1965. About the role
- The Duty Manager / Night Auditor co-ordinates and oversees the running of the hotel in the absence of Senior Management.
- As the Manager on Duty you will assume responsibility for compliance with the Hotels Liquor License.
- Complete the night audit report thoroughly and accurately, including balancing all department revenues.
- Ensure the necessary documentation exists to support all accounting functions in the hotel.
- Ensure the Health and Safety of all guests, visitors and employees
- Responding to all guest comments and complaints with tact, diplomacy, urgency and a genuine sense of caring at all times
- Check guests in and out with efficiency and friendliness and in accordance with the established Hotel procedural guidelines.
- Book, update, amend and/or cancel reservations accurately and according to the Hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Rostered shifts across a seven day roster including weekends and public Holidays. Shifts will be 11.00 pm to 7.30 am

Skills & experience
- LCQ essential
- Current Managers Certificate is an advantage
- Experience in a similar Hotel environment is preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS and Infrasys POS will be an advantage
