About the role

We are looking for our next casual Storeperson to help support out Purchasing and Stores department! The position will report to the Purchasing Manager and will initially be a casual position with potential for part-time in the future. It will approximately be 2 to 3 days per week and up to 24 hours per week initially with capacity for more during busier periods and dependent on business levels.  

  • Maintaining an accurate record of all food, beverage, maintenance and miscellaneous stock received 
  • Complete required reports and reconciliation of stock movements
  • Ensure all store/cold rooms are maintained at the correct temperatures 
  • Coordinating with other departments and suppliers to ensure adequate stocks of all goods are maintained
  • Provide assistance to other departments/outlets where required 
  • Follow and abide by all WHS procedures, while reporting any identified hazards, faults, repairs or cleaning requirements

Skills & experience 

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel highly regarded however not essential or experience in warehousing, manual labour positions 
  • Understanding of hotel operations desirable 
  • The ability to handle pressure, multi task and get the job done
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent personal grooming and presentation
