Rydges Sydney Airport is a fast paced hotel located in the Sydney International Airport precinct. The property has 318 guest rooms, 9 conference spaces, bar, restaurant and coffee shop.
About the role
This position is available for immediate start, however all suitable applicants will be considered. This role requires employees to work shift work between 23:00 – 07:00. Currently recruiting for a Casual Night Auditor, with a minimum of 4 days a week availability. View to move to Full Time after probation for the right applicant. Your day-to-day will be to;
- Have a minimum 2 years experience in a hotel front office department with experience in both front desk and reservations with a minimum 1 year experience as a Night Auditor.
- Excellent customer relations, problem solving and complaint handling skills
- The ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Leadership skills that are second to none
- Working knowledge of Opera and an understanding of point of sales systems such as Micros
- Ability to Identify new revenue opportunities
- Prepare, run and send daily operational reports to management team and Hotel owners
- Assist with all overnight reservation enquiries in the absence of the Reservations team
- Once trained, Fully conversant with all hotel emergency procedures
