About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic professional, with exceptional computer, organisational and people skills. You will have sound knowledge of a hotel environment, with Opera experience preferred. You will be confident in liaising with our Management Team and working closely with Sydney CBD’s Area General Manager. 

Your focus will be inclusive of, but not limited to:

  • Assisting the Head of Departments with any administrative tasks required that include but are not limited to; managing weekly meetings and Management events, IT requests, staff awards, charity initiatives, VIP arrivals etc.
  • Any Human Resources issues or queries and provide accurate information, whilst ensuring all matters are dealt with in a timely manner. 
  • Work closely with the Hotel’s Accountant to ensure all employee records and personal information are current, including Visa and RSA auditing on a regular basis. 
  • Assisting the Management Team with recruiting, new employee on-boarding, inductions, uniforms, compliance of staff training and end-of-employment processes such as obtaining resignation letters, termination forms, uniforms, staff access keys etc.

Skills & experience 

  • Hotel experience is highly regarded 
  • Experience in an Executive Administration Assistant position or similar
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure
  • Impeccable attention to detail
