About the role
You’re not just a traditional Duty Manager, but an experience ambassador for The Capitol Hotel, your someone who is enthusiastic, and passionate about customer service. You do this because you love providing an amazing experience to guests, your professionalism is impeccable, and you believe in making heartfelt human connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel and drive excellence in guest service
- Ensure the team is customer focused, being proactive in identifying customer needs
- Welcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures and requests
- Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback
- Assist the FOM with rostering, training and provide leadership for the greater Front Office team
- Assist Food and Beverage team

Skills & experience
- Strong Opera PMS experience
- Previous hotel supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential
- Experience training & developing front line staff
