About the role 

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to support the smooth operation of a busy hotel? We are looking for a part-time Storesperson to join our team at The Old Clare Hotel. Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Finance teams, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day hotel operations. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure that the invoices accompanying the goods exactly match the goods delivered.
  • Accurately updating the COGS file. 
  • Ensuring that all goods received exactly match the goods ordered and invoiced.
  • Dispatching all goods received in an efficient and timely manner. 
  • Issue goods which have been properly requisitioned to the various departments of the Hotel.
  • Ensure that all storage areas are neat, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Participate in monthly stock takes as directed by Supervisor.

Shifts hours will mainly be 8am-2pm, 2-3 days per week.

Skills & experience 

  • Previous experience in a Storeperson role or similar will be highly regarded. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player & able to develop sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
