About the role
- To represent the face of the hotel to be able to offer an enticing, warm welcome to all guests entering The Victoria Hotel
- To keep abreast of current Melbourne trends, experiences, and product knowledge to create a customized experience for your guests every time
- To ensure you are presented impeccably groomed and looking your best at all times
- To execute best practices of all hotel procedures and policies at all times
- Anticipate and meet guest needs and desires immediately as they occur during the night shift
- Accurately identify any discrepancy, which exists between revenue and payments
- Being totally conversant with regard to all aspects of opera as it relates to specific night audit functions
- To maintain a proactive and positive approach to the role in order to achieve success
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all staff & management
- To promote all areas of the business and ensure adequate details are obtained and passed on to the correct manager following any inquiries after-hours
