Event Cinemas wins global achievement in Exhibition Award at CinemaCon

Event Cinemas Australia and New Zealand has been recognized for its outstanding contribution to the cinema industry, winning the prestigious Global Achievement in Exhibition Award at CinemaCon on April 24 in Las Vegas. 

CinemaCon is the largest and most important gathering for the worldwide motion picture theatre industry, attracting more than 5,000 attendees from 80 countries. 

“Over the years CinemaCon has, as part of its International Day Programming, singled out the achievements of a leading exhibition company, one who leads the way, raises the bar and paves the way for others to follow in providing the absolute best motion picture theatrical experience for its moviegoing audiences”, says Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon. “And this year will be no different. The Global Achievement in Exhibition Award recognizes the exhibitor that has made the greatest contribution to the worldwide movie industry over the past year. EVT was recognized for its innovative approach to cinema, including its focus on customer experience, overarching premiumisation strategy and use of technology to enhance the cinema-going experience.
