EVT Hotels appoints Brett Forer as Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific
EVT has appointed Brett Forer to the newly created role of Chief Development Officer, Hotels & Resorts – Asia Pacific, as the company accelerates its hotel growth strategy across the region.
Forer brings nearly two decades of experience from Accor, where he led network expansion across all market segments with a focus on asset-light management and franchise agreements throughout the Pacific. His appointment further signals EVT's commitment to building out a strong development pipeline across its hotels portfolio.
Norman Arundel, Director of Hotels & Resorts, said: "We have real conviction in the growth opportunity ahead for EVT Hotels & Resorts across Asia Pacific. Bringing Brett on board is a direct expression of that confidence — he has the relationships, the track record and the commercial instinct to accelerate what we're building."

That owner-operator mindset is rare, and it's a real competitive advantage. I'm excited to work with the team to shape a development pipeline that drives long-term value for the business, our partners and our guests."
The appointment reinforces EVT's strategic focus on maximising the value of its Hotels & Resorts portfolio as a core pillar of the business.
