EVT New Zealand cinemas to host Cyclone Gabrielle fundraiser screenings to support relief efforts
Auckland, New Zealand - EVT is proud to announce that on Sunday, 12 March, select sessions across all of its New Zealand locations will be dedicated to supporting the Cyclone Gabrielle relief effort. 50% of ticket proceeds from select sessions at EVENT Cinemas, Rialto Cinemas (Newmarket and Dunedin) and the Embassy Theatre will be donated to the NZ Red Cross to support those affected by the cyclone.
The Cyclone Gabrielle Fundraiser Screenings are part of EVT’s ongoing commitment to support the communities that they operate in. General Manager, Entertainment NZ, Carmen Switzer, says: "At EVT, community is one of our core values. Wherever we operate we are part of the local community and that means we care about the people and places around us. We believe that it is important to come together as a community to support those impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the NZ Red Cross to raise funds to assist with relief efforts."
Cyclone Gabrielle Fundraiser Screenings will provide an opportunity for audiences to enjoy fantastic movies while also making a meaningful contribution to those impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. All tickets to fundraising sessions are just $15* and moviegoers can choose from a great selection of sessions and movies including;
