TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR concert film will open at Event Cinemas on Friday, 13 October, alongside other movie operators.

Event Cinemas will run up to 17 sessions per day across all cinema experiences

27 September 2023, SYDNEY: The largest cinema operator in Australia and New Zealand, EVT – who owns Event Cinemas – has today announced that TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR will be screening in movie theatres across Australia and New Zealand. In an exciting programming initiative, from Friday, 13 October; music, film and ‘Swiftie’ lovers across Australia and New Zealand will be able to enjoy the TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR concert film in the best of cinema experience at Event Cinemas.

TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR broke numerous records when it went on sale in June this year, selling out all four Sydney shows, and three Melbourne shows in two hours. This comes after three million people attended TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR concert during its first leg of its US tour.

Not only has TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR broken concert sales and attendee records globally, it has created excessive demand for audiences and fans who wish to see the concert but we unable to secure tickets to the live performance.

To accommodate the anticipated demand and the high level of expected interest in the film, Event Cinemas will release tickets to the public today for the next four weeks. Across opening weekend, sessions will screen on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For the remainder of the limited season, sessions will run from Thursday to Sunday each week.

TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR will be available at all Event Cinema locations across a range of formats, including Original, V-MAX, Gold Class and Boutique. TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR will also be screening at IMAX Sydney once this is open to the public.
