Telstra Plus points can now take you to the movies
Current Event and Village Cinemas partner, Telstra, has entered into an agreement to further extend the partnership across Telstra Plus points from October 2022.
In an exciting evolution of their partnership, leading telecommunications company Telstra has extended its agreement with Event and Village Cinemas now giving Telstra customers the ability to earn and redeem their Telstra Plus points at the cinema.
Telstra Plus members will now be able to earn and redeem Telstra Plus points for movie tickets across Standard, Vmax, Vpremium, Gold Class and Moonlight sessions. PLUS, Telstra Plus members can earn even more rewards by being members of Event Cinemas, Cinebuzz, and Village Cinemas and Vrewards loyalty programs. Both programs are free to join.
Telstra’s Customer Management and Loyalty Executive, Meg Bonighton, said: “We are so pleased to be extending this great partnership, giving our members more access to the best entertainment and cinema experiences. It’s another great way our 4.5m members can use their Telstra Plus points to get even more value and enjoyment from their membership.”

We believe that the extension of this partnership will greatly benefit and enhance the experience of our shared customers.”
This announcement comes ahead of a blockbuster summer with hotly anticipated titles including Black Adam, Black Panther, Babylon, Amsterdam and Avatar: The Way of Water, slated to hit screens.
