Thredbo Wraps Up Winter 2023 Ski and Snowboard Season 2 weeks earlier than expected 

Thredbo, Australia - September 17, 2023 - Thredbo Alpine Resort, renowned for its world-class winter experiences, is bidding adieu to the skiing and snowboarding season for winter 2023, concluding skiing and snowboarding two weeks earlier than expected. The resort expresses heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated staff and cherished guests for contributing to an enchanting season filled with unforgettable moments. 

This winter season, Mother Nature presented her unpredictable side, keeping the resort's team on their toes. Despite the challenges, Thredbo Alpine Resort hosted a plethora of magical moments that will be cherished by all who visited.

Starting tomorrow, the ski and snowboard lifts will cease operations for the season. However, the Kosciuszko Chairlift will continue to operate, providing access to backcountry adventures, snowshoeing experiences, and scenic rides for visitors to enjoy. 

As Thredbo Alpine Resort prepares to bid farewell to winter, the team eagerly anticipates the commencement of the summer season on November 18, 2023. The resort invites all adventure-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts to mark their calendars and join them for an action-packed summer featuring a wide range of activities in the stunning alpine surroundings.
