QT Hotels & Resorts

QT Hotels & Resorts first put its stamp on the Australian tourism sector with the launch of QT Gold Coast in 2011. With a focus on art and design, the QT signature style encompasses bold entertainment, unforgettable dining and a personalised guest experience. Now one of Australia’s most loved and dynamic hotel brands, the group includes QT Gold Coast, QT Port Douglas, the flagship QT Sydney, QT Falls Creek, QT Canberra, QT Bondi, QT Melbourne and QT Museum Wellington.

QT Sydney is set above the State Theatre and Gowings on the corner of Market and George Street. Featuring a thoroughly restored exterior celebrating the old world appeal, the historic facade is contrasted against the interior which embraces new technology, distinctive art mediums and cutting edge design. The hotel has become part of Sydney’s dynamic blueprint, as a one-stop entertainment destination, with the hotel boasting a unique café – Parlour Lane, a late night drinking destination – Gilt Lounge, a bold European style brasserie restaurant – Gowings Bar and Grill, and the ultimate pamper destination – spaQ.

QT Gold Coast offers guests contemporary living spaces seconds from the beach. Custom furniture and bold colours are some of the distinguishing features of the design inspired by the surf nostalgia of the 1950’s and 60’s and Miami swim couture. Highlights include Eames-era chairs, artist crafted feature walls and photographic ceiling mosaics of the Gold Coast through the ages.

QT Port Douglas features a Mad Men-meets-the-Hamptons aesthetic with a sophisticated, upmarket vibe, boasting light timber floor coverings and a restrained colour palate of muted pastels. The resort is an oasis of relaxation for guests and locals, with a large lagoon-style pool and chic lawn party atmosphere, featuring sun loungers and a swim up bar.

QT Falls Creek delivers the bespoke QT treatment to the Victorian ski fields. The property features vintage pieces mixed with modern furniture, and a slick design philosophy contrasted with rustic and cool accents.

QT Canberra is set in the iconic Canberra establishment of Lakeside Hotel, with a redesigned exterior and interior by renowned designer Nic Graham, the property embraces new technology, distinctive art and cutting edge design. The building is steeped in Canberra history; dignitaries have rubbed shoulders at the bar and conspired in back-room meetings. The unique designer space celebrates this history through bold design, quirky artefacts, a daring use of colour and art, and unforgettable wining and dining experiences.

Each QT property is unique, but QT Bondi is even more so. QT Bondi offers the only available boutique, high-end hotel apartments on Bondi Beach. It’s an exhilarating mix of Bondi barefoot luxury with all the creature comforts you would expect to find in a world-class designer hotel. There isn’t an onsite restaurant or bar, because we encourage guests to get amongst the locals and enjoy the abundance of places to eat, drink and shop scattered within walking distance of the property.

Perched in a stunning harbourside location and engulfed in ivy vines, QT Museum Wellington is the first international addition to the group. The hotel walls host a curated collection of high and lowbrow art, offering guests an opportunity to literally spend a night in an art gallery. The design-driven hotel is the epitome of cool luxury – high tech and sophisticated spaces. With Hippopotamus, a French-inspired restaurant, and Lobby Lounge, a comfort cafe and bar – QT Museum Wellington is also a paradise for foodies.

In a city where food, fashion and art culture is paramount, the perfectly groomed and immaculately accessorised QT Melbourne stands out. Located within the high-end fashion district, the boutique hotel offers a sophisticated overload on the senses in Pascale Bar & Grill, a Euro bistro styled dining experience; Rooftop, a high life bar overlooking the city; Hot Sauce, a late night Japanese/Korean restaurant and laneway bar; The Cake Shop, a onsite patisserie; and Tanto, QT’s high-end knife shop.

The hotels and resorts have also become landmark culinary destinations with QT Gold Coast, QT Port Douglas and QT Falls Creek featuring the unique designer dining concept – Bazaar Marketplace. The signature restaurant showcases an international mosaic of foods, with diners spoilt for choice with fresh seafood, crustacean and charcuterie bars, exotic Asian dishes, vibrant salads, grill stations, a wood fired pizza oven, rotisserie and spread of sweet treats.

QT Sydney also takes city-goers on a culinary journey with Gowings Bar and Grill and Parlour Lane. Gowings Bar and Grill redefines modern day dining, with stunning design and a European-style brasserie menu, and a strong seafood focus. Parlour Lane Roasters on the ground floor is a European-style cafe for breakfasts and lunches, and a bustling wine bar heading into the evening.

The properties also include a designer spa concept, offering a fresh modern twist for spa-goers looking for something contemporary, bespoke and refreshing. The family of spas deliver custom spa treatments for guests while QTique, a signature hotel boutique, offers guests an eclectic mix of luxuries and necessities.
