In winter, Thredbo boasts the ultimate snow experience. With Australia’s highest and longest ski runs, a dedicated beginners area, a range of amazing lessons and programs, and a stack of events amid a beautiful, buzzing European-style village.
In summer, Thredbo transforms into the ultimate outdoor playground for alpine adventurers. Whether it’s hiking Mount Kosciuszko, or riding Thredbo Mountain Bike Park, Australia’s only lift-accessed mountain bike park, we have something for everyone to enjoy.
Thredbo Mountain
Thredbo is your year-round destination.
In winter, its 440 hectares of skiable terrain include Australia’s largest vertical of 672m and longest run at 5kms. All served by 6 on-mountain F&B venues for during or après-ski, along with plenty of other snowsports.
In summer, Thredbo boasts Australia’s largest network of gravity mountain biking trails, and Australia’s only Alpine Gondola. Alpine hiking trails and Mt Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest mountain, are also a huge draw card.
Thredbo Village
Thredbo Village is the thriving hub of the resort with an extensive mix of accommodation, retail, food and beverage outlets, and more.
The Thredbo Alpine Hotel offers 65 rooms and 7 food and beverage venues, as well as 115 external apartments. A further 20 retail and food and beverage operations ensure the Village is the place to be after a day of activity.
A unique experience whatever the season, the village hosts over 100 events every year, including music, sporting and cultural festivals.
